Inaport for Migration to SageCRM

Inaport provides a powerful yet easy-to-use, non-coding approach for migrating legacy CRM systems - including ACT!, GoldMine, SageCRM, Salesforce and Sugar - to SageCRM.

When migrating from a legacy system, Inaport can:

  • Move company and contact data, with merge and deduplication
  • Move activity and history data, with attachments
  • Move opportunity data
  • Move attachments and email
  • Reassign account ownership to the correct users in SageCRM

Standard Migration Maps

Standard Maps provide an automated migration for non-customised CRM systems. They work with the Inaport license, are provided by InaPlex for no charge, and are available for the following migration paths:

  • ACT! for Sage versions 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 to SageCRM. More
  • GoldMine versions 6.7, 7.x, 8.x and 9.x to SageCRM. More

Customised Migrations

The Standard Maps are designed for a non-customised database to a standard SageCRM database, however they can be modified for specialised requirements using regular Inaport functionality. For example:

  • Modify how companies are mapped
  • Filter older activity or history records
  • Add handling for custom data, such as custom fields for companies and contacts

Inaport's extensive functionality allows the setup and modification of maps for specific requirements to ensure successful migration from virtually any legacy CRM system into SageCRM.

Inaport Migration Services

Inaport Data Migration software is supported by InaPlex with a range of data migration services. Whether going from a commercial CRM system, an in-house development, or consolidating pools of client data from several different systems, InaPlex can support Patners and end users at any step to help ensure a quick, thorough and successful migration.

A US based supplier of medical supplies and products for care at home has a legacy Oracle based system for holding patient and product information. Sales representatives need to access as many as 20 screens to gather patient information, current product usage, and health insurance status.

Inaport was used for initial load of patient data from the legacy system into Microsoft CRM, and for regular scheduled import and update of all the patient, product, therapy, insurance, physician and product data from the Oracle system.
