Overview

Inaport provides full support for ACT! Versions 8.x and above, including support for Custom Entities in 10.0.2 and above.

While providing extensive power for data transformation and matching, Inaport also seeks to make integration between back office systems and ACT! as straightforward as possible, with extensive business logic implementing a deep understanding of the requirements of the ACT! database.

Data Transformation

Customer data frequently requires reformatting to ensure consistent, accurate and clean information is transferred. Inaport provides an extensive library of functions for data transformation and manipulation; the ability to add new fields to incoming data; and the ability to perform extensive conditional tests on data to allow for action based on data quality.

Inaport was used by a channel partner to migrate 46,000 contacts from a legacy Access database application into a new ACT! installation. As well as contact data, all History and Opportunity information was brought across, enabling the customer to make a rapid and successful transition to the new ACT! system.
