A leading UK based software and services vendor for the communications sector uses Inaport to extract customer information into an Excel spreadsheet. This is sent to an external tele-marketing house for clean up and qualification, then re-imported into ACT! Inaport matching capabilities are used to ensure that the correct customer records are updated with the new information.

Inaport was used by a channel partner to migrate 46,000 contacts from a legacy Access database application into a new ACT! installation. As well as contact data, all History and Opportunity information was brought across, enabling the customer to make a rapid and successful transition to the new ACT! system.
