Hi,
we are importing data from an ERP system into Goldmine.

What I want to do is to report the log file that is generated from Inaport and send it automatically to some user.
I have some problems with reading in this file automatically.

Is there a way to change the tab separated to comma separated, or add some headings in the first line?
Or is there another way to export this log file in a proper way?

Hi Markus

The logging in Inaport V7 has been substantially enhanced, but probably not in the direction you want - it supplies more informaiton, but not formatted as a columnar data set.

However, V7 does add the ability to log excluded records directly to a table in the source or target database, along with metadata such as the record number and the reason for the exclusion. I think this would be a better choice for the kind of reporting you are looking for.
