InaPlex Tutorials
These tutorials are a series of Flash movies or PowerPoint shows designed to guide new users through
the key stages of the installation and implementation process.
The movies can be viewed on any PC with JavaScript enabled
and the Flash plugin; you will be prompted to install a plugin if you
do not already have one. They typically last between 2 and 15 minutes.
The presentations can be viewed in your browser, or downloaded as a PowerPoint show.
Profile Editor
The profile Editor is the heart of Inaport, used to create the profiles that control the
movement and transformation of data between source and target.
Matching Techniques
One of the strengths of Inaport is the range of matching techniques that can be used.
Matching is how you answer questions such as "Does InaPlex already exist in my data", or
"Find Fred Smith of InaPlex and update his phone number".
As outlined in the table below, Inaport has a number of ways that
the challange of matching can be tackled, with differing benefits. The presentations start with
an overview of matching generally, then go on to describe how to use each technique, its benefits and drawbacks.
