    Running GoldMine lookup.ini rules from an Inaport Profile?

    Is there any way in inaport to triger goldmine's Lookup.INI rules to run after adding a record with Inaport? We are importing to a system that makes heavy use of lookup.ini rules and I would prefer not to have to replicate them in the inaport profile. Cheers, and have a merry christmas! Russell

    Hi Russell

    Unfortunately no. Inaport uses the GoldMine API to write to the tables (to ensure that sync works) and the API does not provide any way to trigger the lookup.ini.

    A workaround is to attach an automated process to the contact that is created/updated (see the attachap() function in the help), then to trigger the AP in the GoldMine user interface. Have the AP set up to "touch" the contact by updating a field with itself for example. This will trigger lookup.ini.
