Crying [:'(] Adding a new table to SalesLogix after mapping has been started...

Our customer added a new field which required us to add a new table to SalesLogix after I had begun the mapping process in Inaport.  Now when I open the mapping file up, I can not get the newly added table to appear in my list of available tables to map to.  How can I correct this?

    Hi Jim

Inaport uses schema discovery on the SQL database at run time, so if the table is there it will appear. Save the profile, close and reopen. If the table still does not appear, check that you are pointing at the database you think you are pointing at. In particular, go to the SLX connector in Inaport and double check that the SQL connection is pointing to the same database as the SLX alias.

Only other suggestion is to check table ownership; make sure it is "sysdba" and not "sa".

    Regards

    David

For the benefit of any readers - off line communication with Jim confirmed that a reboot solved the problem
